Water permeability of BPM-RO membranes are a few folds higher than conventional membranes, thus requiring less energy to achieve a certain treatment capacity.
Membrane fouling are severe in conventional membranes but BPM-RO membranes have display upto 85% improvement in fouling resistance.
The lower energy use, the superior fouling resistance, the use of low pressure components and systems all drive BPM-RO water treatment systems to drastically lower Lifecycle Cost of Water (LCOW).
